Technology Institute Day is scheduled for Thursday, August 24. Please join us for a full day of technology and staff development beginning at 8:00 am with continental breakfast in the cafeteria. Workshops begin promptly at 9:00 AM, followed by lunch.

This one day event will provide all YCCD staff, faculty and managers a unique opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops for workplace and instructional technology skill-building! The Fall Technology Institute allows you to join your colleagues in a wonderful staff development opportunity, while providing a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable experience at the same time.

Anyone (full-or-part-time classified staff, full-or-part-time faculty or managers) who feels they could benefit by attending all - or any portion - of the Technology Institute Day is welcome and encouraged to attend. If you are a classified staff member, be sure to discuss the benefits of attending the Technology Institute Day with your supervisor.

If you would like to attend, here is what you need to know and do:

• First, we treat the Technology Institute Day just like a "conference;" registration is part of the process. We have to plan for meals and other "special" stuff; a continental breakfast and lunch are planned for the day.
• You must pre-register for all workshops. Click on the workshops tab above for detailed information on all workshops and then sign-up via this web site.
